Twas a great episode. I like hearing all the details about how the read bunch block is implemented into the game. Hopefully, we get some more attention to detail on athletic fundamentals involved with jumping.

From what I’ve gathered after watching multiple times, usually being respectful towards your higher ups and upperclassmen is extremely important and in general Kageyama is a very respectful person, but in that instance (Kageyama is terrible at proper communication) since he was trying to hurry and get it out it kinda came across as a bit disrespectful. The subs don’t quite show it but from the actual japanese used, it could come across as disrespectful. Which is why everyone freaked out after he said it cause it’s so out of character for him to talk that way. This little mini arc here is absolutely great so I can’t wait to see your reaction tomorrow.

Japanese culture puts a lot of emphasis on respect towards those older than you. That's why everyone was shocked at Kageyama's very blunt criticism of an older teammate.
