Gonna miss the lagooners when this is all said and done. Man Rock has really gone through quite the crescendo of a character. One more!

Jet Man

Rock intends to give Garcia a Death Note.

This is a comment i posted on one of the Japan episodes, that fits perfectly right now: "Rock is a fascinating character. This episode shatters the illusion of his pure altruism: Dutch explicitly warns of Rock’s high intelligence and the immense danger he would pose if he were willing to let people die for his goals. There were hints from this in past episodes too, actually episode 2 is giving us a glimpse of that. This is proven when Rock calls his actions a "hobby" to Balalaika. He even tries to convince her to destroy the entire Kōsa Clan, a move that would cause massive bloodshed far beyond just killing Yukio. To be clear, Rock is not enjoying violence, but he seems to be getting some kind of kick from this dangerous games. The park scene makes it clear, that this darkness wasn't solely created by Roanapur; it was always dormant within him in Japan. Roanapur was simply the enabler. As the park scenes with Revy show, Rock is now actively leaving his "twilight zone" to embrace the dark. The tragedy here is Revy's: while she, having spent her life in darkness, is finally striving toward the light. The various Japan scenes, shows the viewer that Revy is actually enjoying the light side. Playing in the festival and having a good time with the kids. The fact that she is softening and becoming so protective of Rock only solidifies this tragedy. Rock is doing the exact opposite, willingly diving straight into the abyss just as she looks to him for something better."

I can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode. Genuine cinema in my opinion.
