Man can't wait for season 4. What's actually really cool about all of this is in manga/books (the Loki family spin off) there's a sorts of other crazy ass shit going on in the background.

Sage

I think Hermes and Freya are very much mirrors of each other, both have great expectations for Bell and are willing to artificially achieve those expectations for bell whether he likes it or not. Theyre like Siblings fighting over the same toy Hermes is a strict leader, he sets the stage for a specific outcome for Bell, That outcome being the return of the hero who can kill the black dragon now that the Zeus and Hera familias are gone, which is why, like he said, pure strength and violence was able to break his plans as they require everything to go perfectly like when he had Hestia kidnapped in Season 1 and set up Ishtar and Apollo in Season 2. Freya is a chaotic encourager, she'll genuinely put him in danger because shes fine with whatever outcome she receives, even if that means bell dies as she would gladly just go back up to heaven to chase after him in that event. I also like that she doesnt even know (or at least didn't know when her obsession started) that Bell is Zeus' grandson

Not sure if you picked up on it Tony, but that minatuar is the one Bell fought and killed earlier in season 1. It's the same on Otarl trained, which is why he had that scene talking to the monster. It's because he recognized it.

Worth noting that the side story Sword Oratoria anime that gives Ais's perspective and story does a bit more dungeon crawling. It's got a solid 1 season. Wish they'd do more. But this story plays the long game. It's got a lot of source material so the dungeon aspects are spread across. In the current there is definitely little of that if any.

When plot armor leaves a little bit for the MC.

Me too. I really enjoyed Sword Oratoria. I Would have loved more of it to be animated. Would have been good to alternate with seasons of Dan Machi. I had heard that they originally planned to do more of Sword Oratoria but the 1st season wasn't received well enough in Japan to do another season. Something about the light novel readers not liking the way some things were handled in the anime leading to a somewhat poor reception. Shame about that if that's what kept more of it from being animated.

Better plot this season than, "but I'm a prostitute" 😅

Just to clarify, the same in the sense that monster's "souls" reincarnate in the dungeon in the same way that human souls eventually reincarnate in this world. Just like how Wiene had memories from her past incarnations that had fought and killed adventurers until being killed in the dungeon again and again before her current incarnation with sentience and emotions. The black minotaur's previous incarnation was the minotaur that was trained to use a weapon and fight Bell in his big 1v1.

Hermes might seem like he is helpful at times, but as we've seen throughout the show he has moments where he will intentionally endanger Bell, his familia, and even innocent civilians in the name of making Bell this great hero. It's not that he wants Bell to succeed, but rather he insists that Bell become the grandest hero of this age, and he really doesn't care if he has to sacrifice others on the path of his ambition. Also as far as Bell not being pulp, it's basically just as you level up you basically become super human. When there was the whole stuff with Hestia being kidnapped by Ares when he was attacking with his armies, they mentioned that adventures especially with high levelled statuses are worth like 100s or 1000s of soldiers or some absurd number like that. Anyways I anticipate you liking next season, but of course we will see.

And remember the red knife that Bell uses alongside his Hestia knife, it's made from the Minotaur's horn that he got after he killed it S1. So now Bell is fighting the same Minotaur (That's been reborn) with a knife made of a horn that was from it's previous incarnation. Kinda ironic yeah?
