This arc at the tower has been epic af.I figured we would get a very large education in this last fight and that was def the case. Also made quite a bit of cash in his tenure in the tower. Anyone know how much?

In case you interested in the differences here’s the fight from the 1999 series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9buO0E9UiDE (It has no spoilers for future stuff) The video’s kind of long, like 20 minutes, so if you don’t want to watch all of it I’d suggest these in between two time stamps 1.43- 2.50 and 16.21-18.03 which is only around 3 minutes of the fight but these are the most interesting moments in the fight to me.

Hisoka is such a weirdo clown freak lmao. He's a really compelling character for sure though.

Someone yesterday said that Hisoka being a really creepy dude wasn't necessary and that it's a show's flaw, I kinda disagree. He's a fucked up individual, period. Doesn't matter if he's battlesexual or whatever, he's a groomer, there's no arguing that. But you're supposed to be disgusted/weirded out by him, and it's working lmao. And at the same time, he's a compelling character so it creates these conflicting emotions. Hisoka wouldn't be really Hisoka if you just removed him being a sexual freak.

The really cool thing about Hisoka's explanation of how different Nen types relate to specific personality traits is that, if you're able to remember it, you can actually use it to guess what someone's Nen type will be before it gets revealed. It's such a neat detail and shows how much thought Togashi put into the power system.

The only other long running anime (at least that I know about) that used the same OP song for the whole series (up until this came out) was "Yu Yu Hakusho" which was also from a manga by Togashi (HxH creator). Anybody know of any others?
