Ngl, I love this episode but the whole "The bonds they forged in the camps" and the "compared to the winds in the camps this is nothing" dialogue lines always make me cringe to hear

You asked if there were any tank related anime. I could only think of two or three off the top of my head so I'm doing a cut and paste from a google search. I have seen a few on this list - Full Metal Panic, Gate, Pumpkin Scissors, and Dominion Tank Police are all good anime. Neither of these 4 are straight war anime, they involve either Fantasy, Sci-fi, and/or Comedy blended with action to varying degrees. My personal Favorites of the 4 that I’ve seen are Gate & Full Metal Panic. Girls und Panzer – A unique blend of sports, comedy, and military action. High school girls compete in “tankery,” a sport using WWII‑style tanks. The series focuses on tactics, teamwork, and the culture of tank racing rather than large‑scale war Valkyria Chronicles – A military fantasy set in a world divided between the Federation and the Imperial Empire. Squad 7, a militia group, faces the Empire in battles that often feature conventional tanks alongside other weapons Full Metal Panic! – A military sci‑fi series where the protagonist’s private military unit uses a mix of mechs and tanks in combat. Early arcs include tank battles before mechs become dominant Pumpkin Scissors – A post‑war comedy‑action set in a fictional Germany. The main character is an anti‑tank trooper, and the story includes tank combat in a lighthearted but action‑packed setting Heavy Object – A mecha series where the “Heavy Objects” are massive, tank‑like mobile weapons. While more sci‑fi, the combat style and scale are similar to tank warfare Other anime with tank elements Gate – Includes some tank battles in its fantasy‑military setting, though not the main focus. Muv‑Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse – Contains tank scenes alongside mecha combat. Dominion Tank Police / New Dominion Tank Police – Sci‑fi police series with tank‑like vehicles
