I don't quite remember correctly, but I think the idea is that the twin dragon thing is a "standard" level boss. So it's like S-tier, this is about 1/2 way through the dungeon. The anomaly is that it respawned before the cooldown timer and it acted differently. The black thing, juggernaut, is a complete abomination. I think last episode Litto Rookie stabbed it and said there was no magic stone (or something similar). It's like a SSS-tier. There are other cool monsters, but I don't think we get past the 😮-factor of this thing... so far. I'm sure there are more in the manga, but reading is hard so idk

I think the idea of freezing the water had more to do with providing ground you can fight on rather than immobilizing the boss. I mean, if the boss couldn't move, that'd be extra good, but just not being forced to swim is the real benefit.

Yes the Amphisbaena floor boss is CG and the Juggernaught is as well. Pros and cons. To my eyes it's super obvious when it is and isn't but I don't inherently hate it. It's what allowed those big panning shots that you were really enjoying that would normally be super high budget otherwise, but it's also part of why the Juggernaught looked so flat from being CG with such a dark color palette and not really having any surface texture to its body.

Regarding the beginning with DMing and AI, my dad is actually having a ChatGPT agent create a DnD world and it's not even done after running for a month straight. It's going into insane detail for everything. It won't be done until probably about halloween.
