Hey Friends,

This week we bring you two projects. First we renovated the mimosa bridge we had by the office 🪓

And second we made our first rain gardens design 🌷🌼

Now it looks a bit brown all over the place, but we expect that it will turn into a nice area full of colors. As said in the video, it's going to be a bit of extra work watering during the dry season. Next time we need to get it done earlier so we get more rain and the plants get strong before the hot summer.

Actually we had our first heat wave of the year. Temperature rose up to +35ºC last few days, which is the earliest episode of this kind people remember around here 🥵

But still, this has been a very rainy year so far. With that and all the heat, we have many plants at their blooming peak.

Also, we were offered by a neighbour to pick his citric fruits, so we got a lot.

And maybe some of you remember last season's Zucchini episode (really fun one). Well this is a slightly similar challenge (dealing with a big unexpected supply). We will show how we did in a future video, but for now here you have some pictures 🍊🍋

Our kitchen team is super. Besides all this orange madness they also prepare delicious plant based meals 😋

Workspace people are doing their workspace stuff, some granite ruin updates are coming!

Landscape team also working hard. If you are in Portugal these days, here's a piece of advice from them: stay hydrated.

And we have Yotam back. He came last year to help with graphic design and this year he is joining the Documentation pod. Happy to have him, and his pomodoro approach 🍅, back.

That was it for this week, hope you enjoy the update and let us know in the comments what you are curious about Kamp.

Is the Granite Ruin's roof getting redone? If so, that's kinda sad, but also not entirely unexpected. It was sorta rushed at the end of last season, while hiding from heavy rain under heavier tarps. And then also kind of cool that you would make a point to show yourselves redoing this under better conditions. Again, if that's what's happening.

I don't know if you took my advice but it was very nice to read this post, informative and professional while staying friendly. Nice, thank you. I loved the sequence of Máté building, props to the editor, very cool to watch, reminds me of Casey Neistat. It seems like some effort but I can assure you it's worth it. And I'm happy to see Máté got his proper apostrophes:) The stomping scene with the music was also a hit! The final scene was a nice touch from more than one perspective: - It showed a little more of how You, the people of Kamp are just being humans, working together with pods overlapping. - It also gave a little wider view of base kamp and how different parts of it are located relative to one another - for me this was super interesting, I like seeing the whole thing at once. This goes for the drone shot but not the overhead, that seems like a good idea but it isn't really as easy to comprehend as it looks. - And this whole scene with the music was just a very wholesome ending - and the ending is important, I left with a feeling of joy, that's a good point. I'm super excited to see how the gardens will look with some time, can't wait! Thank you for this wholesome update, wish You all the best! Pál
