Rossana Orlandi Collab Sneak Peek (Patreon)

Looking back, 2020 started pretty good. We launched Version 4 on January 7th and shifted our focus towards commercial collaborations that resulted in a series of new exciting projects with various partners. 

One of these was an installation in collaboration with Rossana Orlandi for the 2020 edition of Salone del Mobile in Milan. The event has since been cancelled 😭However, we still wanted to share with our Patreon supporters what we’ve been working on.

The collaboration was meant to showcase the full potential of the bricks we developed during Version 4. The concept was to create a spatial installation that visitors could live and use throughout the event that attracts hundreds of thousands of design lovers to the Italian capital. The bright colours, textures and unique design placed in an exhibition environment were meant to showcase plastic as a precious material to be used, valued and experienced in everyday life as well as special occasions.

The project is now on hold. As everything else. Most probably slipping to the 2021 edition. Which is kind of a bummer as the project would have helped pay the salaries of the Precious Plastic team at least until June. And again, broke as usual 🤦‍♂️
