Stichting One Army, What Is It? (Patreon)
Content
After two very visual posts, we now want to go back to explain a little deeper One Army and its works. We've set up One Army as a foundation. An official legal entity here in The Netherlands, also known as Stichting. Nothing to do with tax avoidance. We leave that game to the big boys. We just happen to be from here.
We set up a foundation in order to be able to accept donations, set up bank accounts, and enter into agreements as a separate legal entity.
All our projects will fall under the One Army umbrella. So Precious Plastic, Project Kamp, Story Hopper and the Fashion project will all be part of One Army. This helps us streamline paperwork, legal work, reduce costs and be more efficient with our time. For instance, Project Kamp land is technically owned by One Army.
Some of One Army's projects, like Precious Plastic, should be financially sustainable (or at least hope they'll be soon). Generating revenues in various ways to pay for their staff, maintenance and development. Any leftover profit will be sent to One Army to either pay for its running costs or direct funds to other One Army projects that might need extra cash (particularly in the beginning). One Army itself will probably not make money, even though it will try to get grants and prices.
Digitally One Army will have a new website (duh), this Patreon page will become One Army official Patreon page converging people supporting from all projects, a One Army Discord, Forum (maybe), newsletter, Dave's youtube will also become One Army. Basically One Army will be the underlying infrastructure of all our projects. Kind of a big step for us.
That's it for now. Lots to digest. Bring in your thoughts and reflections on One Army and fire up the comments below.
