Today, one week before launching Fixing Fashion to the world on April 19th, we want to share with you Patrons a preview of the website, promo, videos, academy and more. Let us know what you think, get ready to fix your clothes and comment your feedback below 🐬

Fixing Fashion is all about giving people the tools and knowledge to care, fix, repair and upgrade their clothes reducing the demand for new clothes. Fewer clothes mean less pollution at the source and less textile waste at the end of its lifecycle. Check the promo video above to get a glimpse of the project.

On the new Fixing Fashion website we show the plan, collection, community and more. We're trying to inspire a new fashion you cannot buy. A new fashion away from quick trends and fast fashion towards a movement of people wearing clothes for their entire lifecycle, receiving the care they deserve. Proudly wearing fixed clothes. People Fixing Fashion. Let us know what you think of the website, if is all clear and understandable.

And last, check out the Fixing Fashion Academy where we offer all the knowledge, videos, graphic material and more to help people care and fix their clothes from wherever they live in our beautiful and fragile planet.

Oh, I should mention that this is all unreleased content - we're trusting all of you 556 patrons not to share any of the links above with the outside world until April 19th as this could ruin the party.

Get ready to fix 'em holes ♥️♥️♥️

CLAP CLAP CLAP, I'm amazed by how productive you guys are :O

Davide Onestini

Great job guys! It looks all well thought (I love the sliding banners when you try to go the Store). It would indeed be great to see repair shops popping up everywhere. And I think grandmas around the world will definitely approve all this fixing. :) A topic that you could explore in the future is how to actually take care of clothes—in terms of washing, ironing, etc.—to prevent deterioration, and alternative ways to do it—for example, without chemical detergents. But yeah, super congratulations! Can't wait to see how it will evolve.

Wooow!! Great project!! I got three different friends that work in repair/recreate clothing. they will love this initiative. Let us know when local business mapping is ready!

Siemen Cuypers

This is what I've been looking for for years. Very exciting.

I never cared much about fashin and I wear anything that I like and feel comfortable in it, and I have some clothes I wish they would never get old and worn-out. And I try to repair them when needed (with the help of my beloved mom). The people should be creating fashion… and the reuse and upcycle should be what is fashionable ;)

This is amazing! I've been looking forward to this announcement for a long time now. I work in fashion and initially found the one army community when trying to find solutions to some of these same things but in relation to footwear. Love that you all are doing this, and can't wait to contribute!!

Awesome video people! I love the fashion lingo references (like 'collection', etc.). This really helps making the comparison between the commerical fashion system and the Fixing Fashion ideology. And that we can replace the old system with a better one. It also helps seeing the fashion industry for what it is: a construct that we can choose to accept or not. I love the quirkyness and 'lightness' of the video (as with all One Army videos) too. Being funny and constructive makes it easier to convey a powerful message like this, without the risk of becoming preachy. I would, however, advise against using the Michael Jackson image. Not a big thing though, but it would be unfortunate if the controversy surrounding that guy distracts people from FF's mission. A Madonna image would work equally well with less risk involved. With that being said, I'm looking forward to the launch and can't wait to tell my friends and family members!

yeh agree would be good to have a shot like that. But we only had images of those settings. Always kills the flow a bit to have a still image.
