Venezuela's earthquake update, Sunday Jun 28 (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone! Me and my family are okay, we are safe and sound. We are staying at a local small gated park away from buildings with other neighbors taking care of eachother and helping eachother however we can. The estate's government has been taking care of us, giving us food and supplies. We are still waiting for them to check if our building is in a habitable state or not. Until then we are staying here, but I don't feel exactly safe as there have been a lot of aftershocks since then, and experts say that there will be aftershocks for the next two months (yaaay) after a quake of this scale. We live on an 8th floor and had to run down all flights of stairs, so you can imagine I do not look forward to doing that every time there is an aftershock, to not mention living with the fear of if that aftershock will be the one that does me in.
Other than that, it's a matter of waiting. I hate sitting on my hands doing nothing all his time, other than helping neighbors and all that. All I know is that the moment I am able to get back to work I will draw so much stuff, haha. Funny how a life threatening event changes your perception of things, beliefs and way of thinking.
Thank you all my lifelong supporters for sticking up with me all this time and the new ones for choosing to support after I sent the first earthquake alert, it means the world to me and I will never forget that. I will keep everyone updated here if anything major comes up, but if you want to see daily updates you should go check my bluesky!
