Compromise... it's what a relationship is all about... I love sex but sometimes I just don't feel like having sex at all. I still do it as a lover's duty though. Does this happen to you sometimes?

It's a shame he's isn't in tune enough to your needs to understand that he was making his pleasure your burden. The first time you said you weren't feeling up to it, he should have said ok, and if he just couldn't stand it jack off. Even better, he should have have said, "I'm sorry you're hurting, can I help put some lotion on your sunburn?" Now, if he decided to add his special lotion to the the lotion he was applying to your back, well... then everyone wins.

Been with my husband for 13 years. Sometimes I have sex when I don’t want to have sex. It’s not out of obligation, I want to meet his needs. Normally I get into after a few minutes. It’s not obligation and I don’t feel coerced to do anything. If I truly don’t want to, my no means no.

This is so familiar. I am going to have to use that "they don't call it a job for nothing" line on my hubby. I think that if you are in a relationship for a long time this is just part of how it goes.

I ended up having sex everyday for about 5 years because I had sex when I didn’t feel like it. I’m still not sure if it was healthy. But I think it’s like we tried it his way for a certain amount of time and then we moved to a few times a week, because I personally like a little build up rather than just giving into the urge when ever it hits.
