Similar situation except I’m the only one that cleans the entire 3 bedroom house every weekend and my sister doesn’t do shit to help clean but the dishes. Drives me insane, I’m quite glad we’re not roommates because We’d fight even more than we normally do as siblings. I’m honestly glad my babe and I haven’t had issues when it comes to this because we’re open and honest with each other

Well I know our future house will become even messier when our son (who’s 4 1/2 and cute as a button) becomes a teen and his room smells like a damn locker room (Lord give me the strength for this boy). And both Jack and I are a little messy, but understandably so.

I totally understand this, in every single level Jajaja. I have messy af roommates and I have tried talking to them to tidy up (like you would not believe how disgusting the kitchen is and how much they cannot be bothered cleaning properly - it’s still dirty after they clean) My boyfriend is a lot closer to them than I am and we’ve been living all together for 2 years now. If I ask them again It would just add to the pile of ignorance I’ve received from them in that department, but my bf apparently can’t take my side on anything so I’m the one living like a slave in his house of 4...

I'm sorry to hear that. I can totally feel your pain. I'm not the tidiest person in the world but I have to be the clean on in our relationship. Besides, there's a saying for the artists: if your room is dirty, your muse will not come in fear of getting her clothes dirty.

If I had kid one day, I wouldn't want him to learn how to tidy his room from Joe. Wish you lot of patience with a potential messy teen, you need it. XD On a positive side, maybe he will turn out to be the clean one in your future house and take care of his two messy daddies. XD
