Because of the Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vests) protest in Nantes, our casual walk on the weekend kind of turned into a scene from Mad Max, guys wearing masks fighting with the police, so we decide to spend most of this weekend at home.

Stay safe Song & Jo - sending you love from Canada 🇨🇦❤️

Much love from the States! Be safe, boys! 😘🇺🇲

runehunter

Please stay safe out there

Mariachi

Don't stay in the risk areas, teargas can do so much damage if you're expose. Love you, be safe. 🇲🇽

Danny Provencio

Am so sorry. The times we live in. Hopefully people will negotiate better.

song

song

Thank you Eric. XD

song

Thank you Peter.

song

Thank you Richard. XD

song

Thank you Mariachi. We don't go out much so we'll be safe. XD

song

Thank you, Danny. I wish so too.

Be careful guys. This reminds me of the Black Lives Matter Movement in Ferguson, Missouri back in 2017 even though both Jack and I are pro-black. I hope things get better over there

song

I really hope the situation will get controlled soon, because at the moment, it's the public infrastructure got damaged and it's not good for anyone.

Thank you William.

Do you know what’s the cause for the protest in the city? I know in Seattle we had a women’s march some months after was the Mad King (Trump aka not my President) and his cronies said about women and trying to alienate women’s rights

song

Thank you Adam. Don't worry, we are very safe.

song

Thank you Michael, we are still pretty safe. XD

First it was caused by the raised price of the fuel for vehicules, then it become against the high taxes, at the end, it's the poverty that caused all the protests, that's how I see it.

David Proby

That’s kinda like here in the states where the BLM movement started from different unarmed black men getting shot which escalated to the officers not being charged with murder or being endited, which in turn added fuel to the fire to protests and the media painting the protestors as “snowflakes” among or names which led to the infamous “All lives matter” to counteract black lives and then the Charleston incident last year. All these events is why I keep telling Jack I’m scared as a black man in America right now and he knows this. I know I made a long explanation and made a comparison like comparing apples to oranges, but I see a similar pattern that you just mentioned.

Michaelicious

Always take care there. I hope u both always keep safe.

2026-09-29 20:00 I really don’t understand this kind of protest, particularly when related to increase in fuel taxation... if you want to reduce global warming risks you have to introduce incentives and disincentives to reduce CO2 emissions. But people are shortsighted and look only to short term interest (btw, when oil was 100 $/bbl you paid fuel a lot more than today, the difference was that your money went to Saudi Arabia, Russia & co).

Yikes, glad you're okay!

Be safe guys. Just stay inside with Joe, cuddle up and draw more comics. :)

Dear Song, I have discovered your drawing thanks to YouTube and I currently am kind of hooked to it. Fantastic way of describing normal lives and issues (with a gay twist though), that's very refreshing and exactly what we need. I would like to see a picture of you though... Can you do that for a fan and patreon of yours? Many thanks in advance!
