You're right, Awkwafina is a comedian.

Ronny Chieng, who plays Jon Jon (ABC guy) is also a comedian.

I'm so glad you saw this after the rush hour movies there was a lot of inspiration from Jackie Chan's practical martial arts in this movie as a Kung Fu film lover I loved this film.

Yes, that was Michelle Yeoh as auntie Nan. I'd recommend "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" as a great film. However it is all subtitles, it's worth it.

Madmanmarz1981

She has been a favorite of mine sine I saw Wing Chun - 1994 with her and Donnie Yen. She is always good in what she does , and did her own stunts. : ]

Hell yeah Comic Book Kung-Fu Time!!!! Been waiting for this one. I honestly didn't know much about the character going into the film. Trailers looked cool, and , well , Kung-Fu with a big Marvel budget. And as it turned out , I think this one is pretty damn good. I will also say that I only saw it once on home media release , and never revisited. But not for bad reasons , just never got back to it. And I also liked the casting , and fight choreography quite a bit. And then there's that fact that I have had a major crush on Michelle Yeoh since the early 90's.: ] All in all , I just hope you have some fun while watching this Sir. Checklist Time - Fatty rolled and ready - Check - Beer freezer cold - Check - Smokes and Zippo - Check. Strapped in and Ready!! Peace "Logan 5 , Approach and identify."

If you were to watch watch the Planet of the Apes movies, I’d definitely recommend the newer ones: -Rise of the Planet of the Apes -Dawn of the Planet of the Apes -War for the Planet of the Apes -Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes There are about six older ones too, but i could never really get into them. Im sure someone here has some thoughts on them.

Levi

Agreed the newer ones are definitely worth the watch!

Annnd we're done. Another Great Reaction Sir!! I am so glad you enjoyed it!!And it was evident you were having fun as well! And the film is better than I remember. It's a great Origin film for a lesser known Character IMO. And also can work (Minus like 3ish scenes)as a cool Kung-Fu movie on it's own. I would LOVE to see a once a month Kung-Fu Saturday Night Movie! Weekends seem kinda "Random/Request" time , might be neato: ] So the next Marvel Movie will be The Eternals. Was not much of a fan , but I'll re-watch here: ] Again , thanks for another Banger Sir! Peace "Welcome to Fright Night....For real."

My thoughts would be start with the OG 1968 , then go on with Rise etc. Mr. LBoyd does love him some Sci-fi , and IMO , the 1968 film is a Must for any Sci-Fi fan. And I will go all 'Amok Time' with anyone on that: ] (And the make-up still holds up great even today.)

Mel Issa

My friend calls himself BBC (British Born Chinese) and his cousins ABC (American Born Chinese).

This was the first Marvel movie in a long time to make me grin ear to ear like a happy fool. So Good

I saw this one in the cinema and enjoyed it. Although it felt like it was constantly held back by the weight of the MCU when it could have been a stand alone and done its own thing.

Mark B

I think a movie that you will really appreciate is 2024 “Civil War”

Anthony2050

I can't wait for your take on the next mcu movie, definitely want to hear your end thoughts.

Planet of the Apes (Newer Movies) are absolutely incredible and would LOVE to see you watch them!!!

Stef Furness

My favorite part about the making of this one is that Simu Liu who plays Shang-Chi got the part before revealing he was already well-trained in martial arts.

Robert Boyd

You KEEP skipping end credits scenes with the marvel movies!!! Can you at least scrub through til the end sometimes?!?

Mister_Bleak

"yeeeahh...That was the wrong time." Had me cracking up!

Cosmicowl

You’ll definitely enjoy the newer line up of Planet of the Apes movies
