LMFAO as if Nolan gives a shit about if you can hear what his actors are saying. Hahaha that's hilarious. He doesn't care about anything but his breathtaking cinematography and epic halo game sounding soundtrack. The completely forgettable characters, eye rolling to the back of your skull dialogue, and half-baked storylines are an afterthought he tosses down as scraps for his cuck brother to deal with. Nolan would never waste a penny of his 400 million dollar budget on something as unimportant as ADR.

I think Tarantino once said that he is not going to make more than 10 movies, as his mind will deteriorate and would probably create something subpar. Nolan should retire. Just leaving my few cents here, not gonna watch it again. It was only successful in spawning discussions about why it failed and shot itself in a foot multiple times through the movie.

This film being grossly overly convoluted usually indicates it does not fully comprehend or grasp more than a very shallow understanding of its own material and makes very little attempt to do so. I will argue this film and it's director are pedantic and display examples of pseudointellectualism. It boast and showcases copious amounts of raw knowledge and data with little correlation to what I feel is undermining the audience and is saying the film is way smarter than you so that's why it doesn't make much sense, when in reality, the film and its director themselves have a limited understanding of what is presented. It's like an attorney speaking with constant legalese to their client to show off about how much smarter and high class they are because those words are big and archaic and since most people do not know them they must be special. One of the most correlated and indicative signs of high intelligence is possessing the ability to use relatable analogies and metaphors, distill the core information from the frivolous data, avoid complex jargon, and relate it to the audience in a way so they as well can understand. Once again, Nolan is obnoxious and is essentially bragging about how he gets to get a special edition Hamilton watch and has the most expensive equipment and modern cameras on the market because he's got an unlimited budget and is rich and has more money than you. I wish Nolan would eat some humble pie because truly I do believe he is talented and can be an excellent film director, but he's one of the worst and his films will be an afterthought as time goes on. I get your love for visuals and then yes he's your guy for that, but this film and most of his others are pathetic in all other aspects.

LMAO your very quick 2 minute blurb at the end speaks volumes. Love it! You can't rationalize an idiot, or an idiot film for that matter, because in its nature it's illogical and irrational and using logic to understand it is pointless. I bet the same people who voted for boondoggle saints love this film. Okay I'm done sorry lol

Reading the comments you would almost think that Mr. Boyd didn't enjoy this movie lol. For the people that still have to watch it: don't worry ;) The lead actor is the eldest son of Denzel Washington btw. The cinematographer is Hoyte van Hoytema. Who has been Nolan's cinematographer since Interstellar.

I understand why some people did not like it but I liked it, did not really have issues with the dialogue maybe the sound mix in my theatre was better and while I did not understand the story in the first go its a movie that you enjoy more in the 2nd run, is it nolans best work, obviously no but I would put it somewhere in the middle. Financially it broke even eventhough it was released at the peak of pandemic.
