We filmed 3 in a row. 1x20 & 1x21 coming soon. PS: I now realize we should've definitely checked out how to pronounce Stille and Kanne, lol. I hope you find it funny at least. :D

Thanks for watching.

The girl fighting Fern (Ehre) is the granddaughter of Lernen (the first class mage that recognized Frieren's old necklace in the previous episode). Hence the comment about feeling like she was fighting her grandfather. Fun little battles and some interesting details go down in the next few episodes, but you've already watched them so I'll just talk more in those reactions 😅.

Did we miss that about Ehre? Was it teased somehow

William

I think it's never explicitly said (I've rewatched this show like 10 times now and I don't recall it). I believe in the manga there is an explicit mention of it but it was cut from the anime for some reason. We all know about it because the people who've read the manga tend to point it out. There might be a little indication by the end of the first season in the credits but you would have to pay close attention, and even then, so long has passed since Ehre makes the comment in this episode that it's hard to connect. You'll learn more about Lernen near the last 2-3 episodes so I won't say more.
