In Japan, the school year starts in April and ends in March , so cherry blossoms symbolize new encounters and farewells. That’s one of the reasons they’re such a beloved flower in Japan. You’ll see this symbol in many other Japanese stories too.

Gotta love Yamamoto & Kenma backstory. They are as different as they can be but managed to understand each others strength and how they can work together. Also this is one of the rare "its not realistic" moment from Haikyuu because I don't know how you can target a setter by not scoring. You will lose by a lot if you deliberately not score lol (and set will be shorter instead of longer). I don't think its realistic for a team to make them have bad receives instead of scoring. But I completely understand why its written this way for story reasons :)
