Not to defend Obito, but I dont think yall solution of a signing up for the infinite tsyokyomi wouldnt work. Simply bc from Obito's perspective anyone could attack that village at anytime, thus stopping the genjutsu. Thats why it needs to be everyone so no one ever will pose a threat to it and wake people up. Including himself. I do personally get where his coming from, but he's either being super selfish by not caring about people's free will or he's so deluded that he cant even see he's priotising his own pain above everyone's elses right to exist. I think people who root for Obito are in a phase of life where they are in lots of pain or just immature(like how I was as a teen). I have empathy for that, but also hope people grow out of it at their own pace.

Dude.. your 2nd paragraph is spot on. I'm glad you grew out of it cuz I can also see myself being in agreement w/ Obito when I was younger for sure.

I agree completely with your points about Obito, you can understand him and feel sorry for him, but not support his plan. Overall, Uchihas as mentioned in some of the previous episodes are very emotional and tend to choose very extreme solutions, we can see it with Madara, Sasuke, and Obito above all. And one point about Rin: I understand that her decision was to protect the village and was made in the heat of the moment, but I find very cruel towards Kakashi, it traumatized him and haunted him for years and probably even at the present moment.

46:38 As you said its understandable obito's point of view but insane. The thing is you are hearing a point of view from insane person then how can we expect sane answers. Even some terrorists feel they are doing right things based on their ideology or religion etc. Simple point until their mind came to balance they will process pain in their way. I guess thats the point of Naruto's talk no jutsu to help them reach correct decisions for those who still can... and people need to stay i company of people and good association, Obito became like that as he was in association with Madara and basically alone, so when the time came for decision making madara's words came to his mind.
