Great reaction! Parts of this episode are just too ridiculous. The last few minutes seem like they're from a much better episode. The next couple of episodes are my favour of the series, so I can't wait to see what you think of them.

I agree, this is definitely one of the weaker episodes of the season, although i did enjoy the bickering between Robin and the Doctor and especially the last scene at the end. Luckily we have a run of good episodes coming up, especially the next one.

Great reaction, the doctor sword fighting is nothing new. A lot of the classic doctors before 2005 have picked up swords. A couple havenโ€™t. In the new series 9 hadnโ€™t 10 had I think 11 did (in curse of black spot) and 12 has. When 12 fights with a spoon his dialogue are refrences to classic episodes as well.

Yeah it's not because it's BBC that they don't show all the gruesome stuff - it's because it's on TV at 7pm usually whereas like you say, Luther would be on after 'the 9pm watershed', which is our cut off for 'adult themes'. This story bores the hell out of me. :D

I love stories like this one, but ive always preferred historical fantasy over futuristic sci fi. Who doesnt love Robin Hood? These episodes are like a breath of fresh air.
