WIP and info for iOS users! (Patreon)

Hello, my gemlins! 💜

A rare public post appears, with a little sneak peek of the cover illustration for Shallow Sleep chapter 08! 👀

I'll post new pages of chapter 07 for Morganite gemlins tomorrow.

And also, in case any of you, or people you know, use iOS and plan on subscribing to me or other creators on Patreon through the iOS app, I'd recommend subbing through the website instead, because we all got an email from Patreon today, that said:

Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.

Basically this means - starting November, if you become anyone's Patron through the iOS app, you will be paying an extra 30% on top of the tier price, unless the creator chooses to absorb the 30% fee themselves, which I personally will not be doing. This can be easily avoided, if you just use your browser to sign up!

It seems like this will not affect any already existing subscriptions, but who knows if they'll retroactively apply it to existing subs at some point.

So I just wanted to let you know, in case this would affect any of you!

Thank you so much for your support as always 🙏 I know I've been very quiet over the last few months, let me know if you're interested in hearing about the silly little things I've been up to in my personal life and I'll happily type an essay for you 😂 But I don't wanna bore you too much, if you don't care!

EITHER WAY, I am working hard on Shallow Sleep chapter 08, whenever I can. 15 pages are inked and flatted, there's about 15ish more to go but I decided to split the progress halfway thru the chapter this time, to try and see if having half of it finished as I work on the other half will make me feel better about the process q _q) These chapters are taking so long, so the feeling of "I FINISHED SOMETHING" doesn't happen often enough for my liking, lol. Maybe working towards completion of smaller batches will help with that 😄

I hope y'all are doing well and enjoying summer! While hopefully not melting and/or overheating too much ☀
