As you all know, I've been looking for another breeding (and puppy) for my service dog and sport dog prospect.

As part of that search, I've been lucky enough to be able to hang out with, and assess, a variety of dogs as potential parents. With that in mind, I wanted to show you some footage I have of me working with a few potential breed dogs.

I wanted to show you this footage so you can see how I might learn more about a dog that might be a potential sire or dam for an upcoming litter. I'll walk you through what I'm thinking about and what I might train or practice with them, given the opportunity to do so, that will give me more information about that particular dog.

Note this is not a formal assessment, and more of a "meet and greet" where I get the opportunity to get to know a dog, and see how the dog responds and learns. I'll be talking about the "why" of certain things I do, and give you some tips on what you can look for in dogs that you might be looking at.

Another fun one, can’t wait to see who gets the final pick. Thanks for all the tips on why and what you did. Either way, all quick learners! Looks like a win 🎉
