I have a shepherd/mal mix who whines. I have buttons for her to communicate & a bell on the door if she needs to go potty. When she gets whiny I tell her quiet/no & tell her to use her buttons to talk to me. She knows what that means. She’ll be a year next week & I’ve had her for 5 mths or so. Her current buttons are only “water”, “skritches”, & “play”. I had to take some away bc she drove me nuts! She had an “ice cube” button, but I didn’t always want to throw ice cubes for her so i took that button off the board. Now she uses “play” + “water.” Frigging too smart. 😂. I took away “ball” bc I literally took away the ball. She’s not allowed to play w/the ball until she learns to play w/o biting & doing a proper release. we use “hand it to me” bc it will be a command for when I start task training. We practice “hand it to me” w/other toys that have a less likelihood of me getting chomped on.

What is the round upside down short black bucket called that I often see dogs paws up on? I want to get one for practice. Also please post a link to the ball with rope/line attached that I see you playing/using with Denver. file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/ff/15/BAD300A0-AE45-46F9-9A82-459721D7C0CC/463d79e10dd442b61cec7861b9ed1030.jpeg
