I didn't know this was being taped, but a colleague sent me this over after our session. I thought you all might find it a little interesting and maybe be able to get some ideas for some fun things to do with your own dogs.

Note that the dog is only as good as the handler and I am NOT a pro at disc stuff and in fact, my throwing is pretty terrible and limited because I don't practice without my dog and you don't get better if you don't practice on  your own lol!

That's all to say, enjoy it and take it for what it is; some kids watching Whip and I have some fun in a field on a VERY hot day.

If there's any components you'd like to learn more about, let me know in the comments below. I find sport-dog stuff very fun to dabble in and build engagement and play into my routine with my dogs.

Ha! I am not the one to go to for that! However, I've done seminars with Kosuke Hirai and Sara Brueske and recommend any opportunity to work with them. Andrea Rigler also has some great courses as well as Pawsitive Vybes. Hope that helps! :)

Hi! How do you train them to go behind you? Mine will stare at me (in front of me) waiting for me to throw it

I wish I went to this camp demo as a kid. When I was young they had a juggler come in, which was fun and I did get into it for a long time. But just imagine if that had been dog training and I started 15 years earlier than I actually did. Well, thanks for sharing with this big kid. :D

Related to my Q&A for this month. I wonder if you might talk a little bit about how you typically move from food to play rewards. Maybe you didn't train fetch with food rewards, but then if you did, how would one fade food from there?

Recycling bucket is definitely the best trick imo. I'm with the kids on that one
