At what age do you eliminate the xpen and use just a crate?

Funny you say get your puppy in the spring. We got our puppy in January, first week was 10-20 below zero. It sucked so bad having to bundle up and go outside every hour or so. Lol

That really depends on the dog and the situation. I still have an ex pen in my living room for example so everyone can chew a bone without Denver doing something dumb like trying to go take the adults bone :)
