Hello from California!

Finally made it to my sister's place after a fun road-trip across the country. I'm actually headed to LA for the weekend to go to Patreon Creator-Fest so I can learn more about creating the best experience possible for all you amazing supporters!

That being said, here's a new video all about navigating first bus trips for service dogs. I take my colleague Casey along to video the session so you can get a feel for what a real, (and full) training trip looks like.

While this video is specific to busses, I want you to use the framework here (slow intro, high rate of reinforcement, moving at the dog's pace) when you think about exposure to any new environment with your service dog (or pet dog!).

As always, the video is ad-free for Patreon members until released on Friday!

Please help the video get love from the algorithm by:

2) Click the thumbs up button

3) Leave a comment

4) Watch all the way through

5) Share with a friend who you think will benefit

Happy Training Ya'll!

I forgot to mention that all of your training videos have changed our lives. Including this one.

Claudia

Thank you so much for this video. My husband drives me to most places now so I haven’t used the paratransit bus service like I did with my previous service dog. This video reminds me of the importance of using buses, trains and getting used to being in the city.
