it is weaker due to tradeoffs
no, every shiny filament is weak
it’s also the printing method. COmpared to injection molting you get a lot of weak points even with the best orientation
so pressure is unevenly distributed
aaah, how’s the combiners coming along?
I haven’t worked on them this week, I had my kids for 2 days straight all day
I did work on the Metal Gear Rex a bit
the thigh part of the joints is complete
the side armor can now move
(small ball joint)
the thighs and main body are the trickiest parts because of printing orientation
2 kids, 2 straight days, all day? I’m surprised you got anything done in that time. I hibernate most days and they go to school lol
I dread weekends lol
it’s not so much for my son who basically just plays the switch lol
my daughter actively wants me to participate her plushes’ birthdays
(she is 4 lol)
ha
I’ll add back all the details once it works decently
I am considering adding these as well:
noice
So I’ve got a question completely unrelated to your Metal Gear Rex (it’s awesome by the way, wow): how well do the .stls and .3mfs work with an Anycubic Kobra 3 V2 printer? I’m asking as I have tried maybe one or two other files from the MakerWorld site and they didn’t exactly want to work
Having said that, I’m still getting familiar with my slicer, so the problem might be on me
