Oop- The man's a flirt, what can I say 😌

I spent a lot of time on making his ass look good in that panel so please hype it up, thank you.

So quite a bit happened in this episode huh haha. First of all, our girl Tecna is in the Omega dimension. I always felt like they needed to focus more on the girls' feelings at that moment. Musa's scream when Tecna got sucked in was so heartbreaking and truly showed that the stakes were at an all-time high this season. That being said, I prefer an even more visceral reaction and aftermath, if I had the time I would have liked to spend even longer focussing on their feelings and emotions. I have to admit though, even drawing the two panels of Tecna falling and Musa screaming made me tear up a little lol 🙈

Next, I upped the stakes even more, Valtor is not a threat to be taken lightly and I wanted to clearly show this again. So I made him even more menacing while taking out Musa and Flora, I made the dialogue a little more sinister and showed how terrified both girls were at that moment. Something about Winx that has always been a fatal flaw to me is the fact that they act as if nothing is wrong when hit with powerful magic. I understand it's a kids' show but I would have still liked to see more consequences when they got hit.

I also wanted to show that Bloom's magic really doesn't do anything to Valtor at this point, without Enchantix she is truly helpless and completely at his mercy. She only lives because he lets her live. (with a lil flirting on the side heheheh) We already saw this in Episode 5, but knowing Bloom, miss girl really needs it hammered home hahaha. I believe in this episode she was finally able to see just how useless she is in battle against Valtor the way she is now, prompting her trip to Pyros.

Another thing that always bothered me immensely about the original episode this is based on, is how Valtor got her so angry by lying to her about her parents. It feels unbelievable and cheap at best. Firstly, why would Bloom believe that, and secondly, why would she get so pressed about that when her friends are dying right there? I needed to change her anger to her desperately wanting to save her friends. I do feel like the writers lost Bloom's character a little here. She would be sad and mad for sure, but she never met her real parents so it always seemed weird to me how she got so out of control angry. If Valtor had killed Vanessa and Mike I would have understood 100% but this always felt a little off to me... But then again, I don't know, I'm not adopted after all haha. Let me know if you feel differently about this!

Anyway, rant is over! I had a lot of thoughts while writing this episode as you can see, I'm curious to hear what you think! What do you all think will happen next?
