Thumbnails | Episodes 3-4 (Patreon)

So... during the making of episode 4, I almost quit this webtoon haha :')

This was still when I used Procreate for everything. While working on the thumbnails for episode 4 I accidentally deleted my entire layer... of course, my entire layer meant that I deleted the thumbnails for all 9 pages I had sketched out. No problem right? Just click undo and your layer will be back! Yeah... no lol. Procreate decided to crash at that exact moment and if you are familiar with Procreate you know, it autosaves EVERYTHING. So when I started the app back up, everything was gone 😭

I know I should have used more layers, but Procreate doesn't allow for many layers so I had to be creative and merge once in a while. Anyway in this case it wouldn't even have mattered, because I don't know how but it not only deleted one layer completely but all other layers below it as well. Which happened to have the thumbnails for episode 3... Yeah, this was not a good day lol.

Bless whatever god was watching over me that time because luckily the timelapse function was turned on. I had to go back into the timelapse and screenshot every single panel... Truly a dark time 😅 So if you're wondering why episode 4 might look different here, it's because it's all bad quality screenshots :') Still very grateful I at least had that, because if I didn't I think Embers to Inferno would have ended that day haha

As for episode 3, I luckily sent my friend the files to look over so she was able to send them back to me 😭 My phone was also having problems and all my pictures and messages were deleted so I truly lost everything lol. I was traumatized for real hahaha. I think this was the time were I started considering Clip Studio Paint, but sadly it is very expensive so I put it off until Episode 8. So happy I made the switch though, my life is so much easier now!
