Embers to Inferno | Episode 16 (Patreon)

The long-awaited training arc has started! Bloom and Valtor have officially started their secret training sessions with each other, Bloom is excited to finally learn more about her capabilities, and Valtor is more than ready to be the one to teach her.

But who could have guessed it would become so complicated so quickly? (All of us ngl)

Oh oh, looks like these two are going to have a bit of a crisis after this episode 🥰

I can hear everyone screaming at me for ending it like that bahahah 😂 Sorry guys, you knew this was a slow burn 😌 But I still like to give little treats every once in a while heheh.

This episode is a raging cliché and I do not care, I needed this okay 😂 A cliché is a cliché for a very good reason after all! And who doesn't enjoy a good training session turned spicy? Who doesn't enjoy a good "Oops, suddenly I fell on top of him" moment? PEAK LITERATURE GUYS!!!!

I hope that by now, you all have realized that when I draw the little flames and floating particles, it symbolizes their connection which heightens every touch and interaction they have! Their senses are extremely heightened, making every touch feel like it's burning. This was also the first time they touched without the barrier of gloves, the first real skin-on-skin contact, completely overwhelming both of them.

Someone commented on episode 7 that it was unbelievable that Bloom was already "falling for him" when he touched her chin. But she wasn't lol, it was their closeness and proximity heightening the senses and making Bloom feel hazy and drawn to him. I felt like it was important to mention this so everyone understands what those little flames represent, and that no, Bloom did not fall for him already back in episode 7 😂

Just like in this episode they are not in love, they are purely driven by their attraction and connection to each other! These sorts of things are easier to make clear in writing than in an illustrated format sadly 😭

Either way, I hope you all liked this episode and enjoyed some peak Blootor tension and spiciness😏

Now, Bloom and Valtor will have to deal with all the emotions that resulted from this little incident. How will they both be able to face each other? What will Valtor think about Bloom going forward and vice versa?

The next couple of episodes will be juicy for sure 😌
