Hey!

Since people enjoyed A Black People's History of Halloween so much, I decided to make one for Christmas.

How have black Americans celebrated Christmas over the years? What was Christmas like for the enslaved on America’s plantations? What was the significance of eggnog? Which 19th-century tradition involved black people dressing up in costume, caroling, and harassing white people for alcohol and trinkets? How has Christmas been a tool of liberation and radical action?
