Hello!

There's only three episodes left of the TYBW Arc, but unlike in the manga, the anime has now set up three different ways that Yhwach might be defeated. What are they, and how might they all work together in the final showdown? Let's take a look.

Enjoy!

Making Minihagi an important part of TYBW, even more than Pernida, is one of the things I greatly enjoy about the anime. From keeping the three worlds together with Ukitake to now infiltrating an overconfident Yhwach that even after gaining so much power is unable to see it, peak.

Ryuken and Isshin (perhaps) are gathering more silver from the quincy considering the tiny amount from katagiri wouldnt be enough for the arrowhead.

Is crazy to think that all of ichigo’s friends, him included, have had stupid buffs in this arc: Uryu can change the future Orihime can reject god’s existence Renji got new techniques for his Bankai Rukia managed to use her Bankai twice Ichigo got a new bankai. Only Chad seems to be left behind, but he is already broken, as one cannot imagine him losing…

Yhwach truly became a megalomaniac after obtaining the Soul King’s power, and the same can be said for Jugram. He is really the embodiment of absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Hoping that mimihagi will be a part of yhwach downfall, like stopping him from moving to allow the arrow to hit him. Hopefully the final episode will give us a better ending than the manga

Yhwach will ultimately fall to Don Kanonji

I like the fact that Yhwach is getting more and more maniac, drunk by his new and absolute Power, and because of this he might lose to the combo of Mimihagi, Antithesis, Aizen's hypnosis, Tsukishima's fullbring, and the Silver Arrow. If he kept his Stern Ritters another story could be.

Andrew Masiye

I give Kubo props for trying to write himself out of a corner and with 3 more episodes he might just pull it off but as it stands now, the Antithesis still is not logically more powerful than the Almighty. One simply needs to consider that if YWACH can pick any future he wants then the logical next step would have been to select a future where Uryu doesn't exist. That is a big plot hole that is still not adequately addressed. Bleach is my favorite manga/anime of all time so I don't say this from a place of hate... I still think Kubo wrote an antagonist that even he can't properly defeat. One has to do too many mental gymnastics to avoid the logical conclusions that arise from the power of the Almighty. Even if Uryu's actions are masked from the Almighty the effects of his actions aren't. So one should be able to work out the details of what will happen without knowing who will do it.

Does Kyoraku’s shadow thing have anything to do with why he got Mimihagi or is that a stretch?

Honestly. I would genuinely love it if all 3 of these came into play, but as a surprise twist they all end up failing somehow or another, and the anime expands on ichigo’s true Bankai and give him a power that scales him closer in ability to Uryu now. Bro is supposed to be the main character after all. Plus I can’t imagine that the anime would give us blood chains Ichigo and all those crazy new abilities, but his true Bankai is just speed blitz and getsuga go boom boom. Cause that “massive” getsuga we get in the manga looks like a reiatsu charged can opener in comparison to giving Yuha a whole crescent moon to the face after blitzing and immobilizing him, with freaking shadow clones mind you, in his blood chains form.
