Once Underworld hit max acceleration phase, anyone not connected to a to a machine hardwired to the server hosting Underworld was automatically kicked, which obviously meant the worldwide "beta testers" and the ALO players, as they were connected remotel, but that also meant Sugu and Shino, as while they were connected to Underworld via "owner accounts" at Rath, it was at their Roppongi offices and not at the Turtle Pig, which means they weren't hard wired to Underworld, either. That just leaves Kirito, ,Asuna, and the artificial fluctlights in the light cluster that would live through the max acceleration phase. At the same time, those that weren't kicked wouldn't be able to log out through their own voltion, either, which meant they had to live through the virtual 200 years... and nobody's going to know how it's going to affect them.
