It just gets better and better

It was so funny. You were like "the constable isn't letting her out" he lets her out. " she isn't running away" she runs away.

First episode we see Marquis really fight, even though he's still injured badly. Poor guy can't seem to recover in peace. 😂 The Magistrate is a small town government official who hates his job and is a coward. 🙄 He just wants to clear cases so he doesn't have to deal with them or the truth.

Yan Zheng's aura is really something, even injured. Imagine his aura when he's in good health and in full regalia. Love the action scenes in this episode so much, as well as your reaction to them!

Pree-sent for this one and waiting for the next...

In Xie Zheng’s dream sequence, he saw his mother in front of his father’s memorial alter saying he broke his promise of returning home to draw her eyebrows. It is based on a Chinese idiom originated from the Han Dynasty referring to an official who was known to draw his wife’s eyebrows for her every morning because she had suffered an injury to them when she was young. It is a classical metaphor for a romantic, intimate and loving relationship between husband and wife.

I was so exited for you to get to this episode! There are like a nice handful of episodes that i cant wait to see your reactions to 😂 but the whole drama is amazing to watch. I cant wait for the next episode!!

Her carrying him is not wirework either, the actress, all 99lbs of her carried him multiple times in the series. He's 154lbs and 6'2".

When Zheng was leaning on his sword after giving Ning the cloak of one of the assassins it was because he had been injured again. Changyu's actress was LITERALLY carrying her co-star who is like 6ft 3in. So anytime you've seen her giving him a piggyback or whatever it's real. I have watched this scene I don't know how many times and I STILL can't figure out how the assassin broke his own neck?! Zheng does feel responsible for his mother's death but I don't think that is what he was referring to when Changyu asked if he'd killed someone before. He's a battle hardened general remember, he literally had to fight his way out after he was injured the first time. The magistrate and his slimy sidekick are corrupt as fuck! They had obviously been paid off by the uncle to side with him the first time around and I wouldn't be surprised if the wife has done the same this time to frame Changyu and Zheng for the death of the uncle. I love how the sign above the court says Integrity, Prudence, Diligence but the corrupt magistrate and his sidekick don't show any of that in their handling of these cases. "Mr Sun" Is such a great character and supportive friend.

New favorite saying, "Skilled stabber!"

it’s funny how you mentioned Yan Zheng can never recover bc behind the scenes, he said the exact same thing! he said from episode 1-12, he’s always injured. lol.

Florina Niko

He actually said he is 200lbs
