I don't consider this a spoiler, but the lady of the restaurant in the books is a time traveler. They don't say it in the show. But she will make references or do things that aren't known or done yet in this time frame. For example, her business methods, which are ahead of the historic setting they're in. Just thought it would help you focus on some of the things she says, since they do not state it in the show. It's barely hinted, so most people don't catch it. Also your tangents were hilarious, and had my hubby laughing as well.
