in elden ring there is a boss in the rot area that drops a spear that buffs nearby allies with the ability. I always thought of this movie when i used it

i love the remix of luminous light (also known as asunas theme) in this movie

btw, the two guilds that clashed later became the Aincrad Liberation Force, that is the guild that was controlling the first floor taxing the children and the guild korvaz was in the guy that died during the gleam eyes fight. the reason they went into the dungeon where the grim reaper was in where yui sacrificed herself was because kibao (that spiky hair dude) baited Thinker (the guy that was stuck inside the safe room) into coming there unarmed

Klein isnt cut out you saw him during the opening ceremony but at least in the original kirito and klein didnt work together. Kirito was solo, maybe you remember kirito feeling guilty of abandoning klein because kirito didnt want too be part of too many because. it was back in episode 1. They split up. in episode 3 it was already 13 months after release ( a year after this movie) when they met during the santa event or before that when kirito snuck out at night while he was part of the guild moonlit black cats

1:17:13 that scream from kitio was so intense, you can tell how much she means to him already

they announced that they are working on a new original sao movie this month with more information coming in july, it being an anime original (like ordinal scale was which i love) probably means that its not progressive. they could use it to transition into unital ring which is the next ark. Novel 8 came out 5 weeks ago (alicization had 10 novels) i would have loved a moon cradle movie which is novel 18 and 19 and depicts what happened durign the 200 years where kirito and asuna were stuck in the underworld, but sicne its orignal its unlikely

The next anime for Sword Art Online will be anime original movie. It's set to be revealed next month.

Asuna would be carrying a different sword at this point, and it is no offense directed at Mito. She gained that sword on floor 1; to start the movie they're fighting the floor 4 boss. That first sword had long become obsolete, and IIRC she gained her current sword on floor 3 near the beginning of a multifloor story quest that Kriito and Asuna are playing through (they're skipping over that quest line in the movies as of right now because it hasn't been completed yet in the Progressive novel series... even if we already generally know how that quest is going to end due to other side material that has been written covering their time in Aincrad). Leaving most of the details of that quest unsaid just in case they ever decide to adapt it in the future. You've met Argo before: S1E3, she was the info broker that Kirito bought the info for the spawn point of Nicholas the Renegade, hoping to acquire the resurrection crystal to perhaps bring Sachi back. She is a serious fan favorite of those that have read the LN series. At this point Kirito and Asuna, acting as an independent part, act as kind of a "power balance" against the two main guilds ALF and DKB. The fact that both Kirito and Asuna are probably the most powerful players and neither currently belong to either ALF or DKB means that neither guild can dominate the game and impose its will on the remaining player base... and if both guilds are being honest it's actually helpful for dispute mediation.

Its a bit sad that they mixed the progressive series with the main series volume 1 because we could have this kind of development already in season 1. But sadley they decided to take just the floor 1 boss stuff from the progressive series and everything else from the main series. And yes, progressive is more or less a retelling and filling in the gaps of season 1 part 1. Since season 1 did those big floor jumps. Yuis appearence will probably take some time since they met her almost at the end of the aincrad arc, right before the big fight against kayaba.
