Qi Min knows exactly who Qian is and as he says he's been looking for her for 7 years. The change in his appearance will be explained in a few episodes time. His name is pronounced Chi Min.

Speaking of idol culture the actor who plays Zheng wrapped his latest drama project a few days ago and there were fans literally lined up outside with mobile billboards with his face on them etc. He came out during a break in filming because they weren't going to finish until about 2am. It was raining, so he thanked everyone for their support and told them to head home and not stay in the rain until the early hours, he took photos and filmed some videos of the crowd. Comparing it to a Hollywood film set that would never happen! Also Deng Kai was in the airport recently and he was absolutely mobbed by fans because he has become more famous in China because of this show. People followed him everywhere, shoved their phones in his face. They even tried to follow him to the bathroom and if Deng Kai hadn't pleaded with them to leave him be they would gone in there too. There's videos of both of these events on youtube, some people are nuts and truly scary when it comes to celebrities.

Question for yall, is Prince Changxin a prince from the country we are in or an opposing one? I'm trying to understand if this power struggle is all internal or if someone on the outside is messing with the powers of our country so they can take over.

eimi

Ahhhh yessss so excited for the upcoming episodes!!! Love that you’re still enjoying it even with a slight change in atmosphere to the show.

Prince Changxin is rebelling against his own emperor whether his cousin or distant brother is mentioned way later in the show. So he is part of the same country technically but practically controls his own territory on the border which is why we are in the small town and all this talk about the military and supplies for the war. The answer to the power struggle is Both currently the show will clarify.

Dana

He's a Prince in Dayin. The Kingdom they are in. I think he's the cousin of the current Emperor.

Checking someone's pulse is one of the fundamentals of traditional chinese medicine. I don't know enough about it to go into detail but apparently a persons pulse rate can help determine what is wrong with them. If they have a fast or slow pulse will help the doctor diagnose what's wrong with the patient, along with questions about what's ailing the person of course.
