The scene where Xie Zheng humbles down Song Yan has to be one of my faves from the show, oh, how I wish to look like that when I'm looking someone down too😂

I love Xie Zheng's threat to the official. "you can buy a lifetime of wealth and honor". Because you won't live long.

i just have to say xie zheng looks absolutely beautiful on that scene with song yan, i laugh too hard when he fainted lol not sure if you catch, but xie zheng wanted the other scholar to spread the word that he came back to capital without imperial decree, he really is challenging the emperor, him & wei yan are playing the game, wei yan told the emperor to summon changyu to capital as he knows xie zheng will come as well, wei yan telling the emperor that xie zheng found yu bao'er hinting that xie zheng is not on his side, but then qi min suggested to have emperor summon xie zheng, it's three way thing trying to catch each other's plan and love how changyu used her last card of revealing that xie zheng is her husband, she knows how to use his title, and knows the emperor will be scared as hell to go head to head with marquis

They adapted Hikaru no Go into a Cdrama a while back. It was actually pretty good. Could be a nice change of pace if you want to learn some Go. :p

I absolutely love the scene with song yan getting some karma for all his smugness 😂😂😂 especially when he started yelling at xie zheng for “climbing the ladder / being raised up by a woman” and then getting slapped by other minister who is like “who have i brought here 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😭😭” 😂😂😂

This is absolutely my favorite episode so far. It is so satisfying to see Song Yang got his comeuppance at last and the look that Xie Zheng gave him was priceless. Also, Changyu really put the emperor in his place. Really looking forward to the next one.
