Eris is Rudy's 2nd cousin (we only know thanks to a now-dead game that revealed Paul's entire family tree. His mom is Sauros' (Eris' grandpa) sister, meaning Eris' dad is Paul's cousin, thus making Rudy & Eris 2nd cousins). Marrying 1st cousin is legal in more places than where it's illegal, AFAIK, so marrying a 2nd cousin is no biggie with that baseline out of the way

Chiyo has the most annoying quirks (clean freak and crying). Nadeshiko is just annoying to decipher. The Americophile schtick can be grating in the beginning. Same way as Kusuri's intro. Maybe the anime will soften them up

The thing that baffles me when I hear people are dropping the show because of the Cousin.... Why didn't you drop the show in season 1? When he started dating an adult woman 13 years older than him who is also the mother of his first girlfriend? Why was that, apparently, okay? Oh is it because she has big tits and fits the MILF archetype? And now you want to act like your the bigger person because this shares blood? I'm not acting like it's okay he's dating his cousin. The whole fuckin' point is that it isn't okay, if you really think about it. The show LITERALLY CALLS ITSELF OUT. Before it even happens... But acting like this is EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to as problematic as Hahari has been is absolutely insane. Even if we overlook JUST the arc where Hahari was introduced... literally all of her behaviour in season 2 was absolutely unacceptable if your going to watch this show with ethics/morals in mind. Like Freshy said, the point of this show is it's an absurd comedy that is making fun of every single stereotyped relationship format in media. That's WHY we have a Tsundere. Why we have a MILF. If you weren't on board and/or expecting this at this point. Why are you even watching?
