Another cool detail about the water god, there ARE others in the school who have mastered 3 of the secret arts, but they are not willing to accept the title of Water God because they themselves feel they are not as good as the current Water God and cannot yet live up to the title.

I read the manga up to season 2 portion only, it also show a few bit of ep 1 of this season in the middle but then continue with the season 2 part. Maybe it's the same for light novel?

Can we not spoil stuff please?

Nina doubled down, trippled down, and quadrupeled down before folding, damn. Somehow, her facial expressions remind me of Katara from ATLA.

As said by Geese in S1 ep15, here is the current "7 Great Powers" ranking : 1- Gijin (Technique God) 2- Ryujin (Dragon God) 3- Tojin (Fighting God) 4- Majin (Demon God) 5- Shinigami (Death God) 6- Kenjin (Sword God) 7- Hokujin (North God)

Damn chat today haha. I get they mean well and all, and they were trying to correct you, but it's still funny

I know these episodes are supposed to be about Eris, but I really liked Nina's character development even more. From the spoiled daughter of the Sword God (and I mean spoiled by the treatment from the other masters at the Sword Sanctum, and not from the Sword God and her father - because apparently I have to clarify that), to bullying Eris verbally and by exclusion; from thinking Rudeus is some kind of joke and she's going to enslave him to destroy Eris' motivation factor, to realizing Rudeus is everything Eris said he was and more, which makes her realize THIS is what she's trying to get stronger to be worthy of standing next to... which completely destroys her sense of superiority and makes her get serious about her own training for once in her life. And how important was all that, when you consider had that not happened, when Water God Reida shows up with Isolde, if Nina hadn't gone through all of that development, there's no way you get the 3-way standoff between Eris, Nina, and Isolde. And speaking of that, what a relationship that turned into - their standoff caused them to talk out each others' strengths and weaknesses, allowing each of them to get stronger. It's something none of them have ever had before - peers, rivals, and more importantly, friends of their own age. And I don't think I've ever seen a brigher, gentler smile on Eris up to this point, even in the presence of Rudeus.

I still think of Eris as a child so it's crazy to see her like this lol. Also, I always enjoy seeing parts of a previous episode from a different POV. I love Joe instantly checking for after credits stuff. Sign of a true anime watcher.

"What a lame name 'Quagmire' is" bro has clearly never done a war of attrition in bogs etc, any vet soldier could easily tell what a fucking nightmare it's to do combat in bogs & other wetland shitholes like that 😂😂😭😭 Like take vikings IRL for example, they didn't rly like raiding Finland (2/3 to 3/4 of various bogs, wetlands etc before artificial hardening of ground over centuries for agriculture purposes etc) unless they were forced to, because they had swamp/weather wizards and so you'd drown in bogs or get landslided on by shittyass bog mud etc. If the literal fucking leeroy jenkins mfs wouldn't want to fight in those conditions, what would someone w/ 0 real world survival experience do in such quagmire circumstances?

This episode is so fucking funny, Nina is like a #1 all time greatest hater in anime. Imagine hating a bitch in school so bad that you drive across country to try and punk her man, out of spite. The GOAT, nobody could ever hate as much as Nina.
