great episode but it doesnt quite make clear if your anime only rui goal is to live the perfect live because unlike her two brothers she is trapped in the od laguna craddle which i think is never confirmed but you kind of guess that she is the mecanisim created by od laguna to cleanse souls so they can be reincarnated but the problem is she begins to feel jealous of there people because they can live happy lifes while she trapped doing the same shit for all enternity so then she decides she wants out to live her own life but she doesnt want any life she wants to live the perfecto life where there are no mistakes or suferring only happiness so all the memories she has seen not one fits her ideal until subaru which has return by death which is to her the perfect ability for happy life of course she isnt taking into account the suffering that subaru goes through by dying which til this day heavily traumatices him so she wants to take subarus identity for herself and for that she need to make subaru an empty vessel of sort so she can take it. also remember what she says that memories make you who you are so by having rems memories she cant actually harm subaru because in a way she is rem thats why she discarded them obviously she didnt expect for her to show up because its not something they do giving back memories.

It has been demonstrated in 2 of the last 3 episodes that Subaru truly needs both Emilia and Rem in his life. When Subaru is backed into a corner and in despair because he doesn't know what to do, Emilia gives him the unconditional, caring love he needs; and when Subaru has been beaten down to the point where he's about to give it all up, Rem hits him with the tough love because he's her hero and she's the one person that has expectations of him.

I just love this ARC so much. It is just getting better and better.

Od Laguna is Reinhard's sugardaddy basically (I think it was mentioned in passing in one of the seasons, that Od Laguna is where all the Blessing of X come from to people. At least one of the reactors I've watched already for this episode knew about Od Laguna as a name/term at least). I guess based on the design of that place, it's basically the neural network of the world so to speak? It does look like a neural network lattice design at least, and it has admin shit like Soul filtering etc. Damn Shaula spamming that shit is like one of my Gooner Zone Zero runs when using Norma 😭 Damn no wonder Perugius was so racist towards Roxy, her VA on some demonic ahh shit w/ those voice changes 😂
