Oshirasama truly is the most wholesome horsefucker I've ever seen, ngl Honestly Akio is a dumbass for believing the scam. He knows he's a psychopath or w/e it's called when your sense of pain is disabled at birth, and psychopathy is partially genetic AFAIK, at least as far as we currently understand it (people with ancestors who had psychopathy, are likely to be psychopaths themselves), so he should be sus about the mom, who is also a psychopath and thus unlikely to actually be emotionally invested... especially when bro was abandoned as a kid to begin with...

When it comes to Yuru feeling more relaxed in the dark closet, I think it has more to do with the fact he's the twin of the night rather than trauma, like how he was more honed in during the fight with Jin. Right also makes the comment that Yuru is the opposite to Asa, which I think he's referring to episode 6 when Asa, Yuru, Right and Left got sucked into Asa's daemon and Asa and Right were together in the dark while Left and Yuru were in the light. Right saw how freaked out and afraid of the dark Asa is, where Yuru seems to relish in it.
