Thanks for the reaction. If you are having a hard time making a decision regarding Sunday shows the space mercenary anime is decent. The animation isn’t great, but the story is pretty good. If you are not open to suggestions you can just ignore my post.

I second this, definitely one of the more interesting stories of the “lower-tier” shows this season

How dare this bitch Yura shit on using gear to be busted! Greed ain't having any of that shit, gear = life, simple as! I mean his name is clearly supposed to be Phagma (maybe bro's Greek?), IDK why they keep using clearly wrong sub like Pagma... Joe you missed an important part. It ONLY applies for LOCAL information, not anything beyond that. so at most you'd get priority to your town info, nothing beyond that if IRL politicians were to use a similar law...

shweampy

are they gonna do blacksmithing in the middle of the arena or something? 😂

Dragon_Razure

his percentage to beat the quest is higher then rimuru"s chance to revive his people

You've got a good point with games and the general lack of choice and consequence in many RPGs, but I think linear storytelling is still so popular because it simply leads to a higher quality experience—even if that experience has limited replayability and is the majority the same experience everyone else has. Choice and consequence is extremely expensive to do, far riskier, and lower-budget experiences still struggle to hit the highs of traditional storytelling. Baldur's Gate 3 is the most recent and best example of good choice and consequence, but even that has a throughline for its story that makes everyone's experience relatively similar. This and Shangri-La Frontier are so engaging because they present a game that really can't exist in our world for tons of reasons, money being first and foremost.

I'm really enjoying this anime, reminds me a bit of another manhwa that's also getting an anime adaption in the future, Hardcore Leveling Warrior. I just hope that one gets as good an adaptation as Overgeared, if not better.
