Re: English Muffins: I've found making French Toast with English muffins to be really good.

I'm a Shadow Wolf over on Action Boyz. I've been listening to the free Doughboys episodes for years and finally decided to take the leap and become a Golden Plate member!

This is the best double ever. Five fork eppi.

Just a heads up..Gervais has now become a notorious TERF. Like, JK level. Misappropriating feminist ideals to disparage the Trans community.

Elizabeth O'Brien

Now I need to try to recreate a pizzaria somehow

Awesome episode! FYI , Hunter , Meadow’s annoying friend ,is actually David Chase’s daughter. Funny she plays that character!

Great stuff! I’m watching The Sopranos for the first time right now. I’m midway through Season 5. Season 5 feels a little uneven compare to the rest of the show so far but I still love it.

Kays

I would pay for more Doughpranos.

***AJ SOPRANO-SPECIFIC FINAL SEASON SPOILERS BELOW*** I also watched The Sopranos again during quarantine and one thing in particular stood out to me when viewed through the lens of our current political climate: AJ Soprano is a prototypical alt-right figure, there was just no word for it back then. The writers must have keenly sensed that young men with these types of beliefs were out there and perhaps growing in numbers, fueled by anger about 9/11 and enraptured by the “war on terror.” AJ’s status as proto-alt-right is cemented in the final season. He wants to join the military for reasons that appear to be motivated by his desire to kill who he perceives to be terrorists. He also mentions wanting to stop driving a gas-guzzling SUV, not for environmental reasons, but to “reduce dependence on foreign oil” in perhaps a nod to anti-globalism. He appears disillusioned with institutions, and is nihilistic and disengaged. He stands by while his friends commit racist hate crimes. Strangely, he even ponders a career as a private pilot for Donald Trump. Last, and most importantly, AJ is shown to completely abandon his principles when opportunity is handed to him on a silver platter: he decides not to enlist in the army when he’s placated with a cushy “producer” job and a BMW M3.

Going through the show for the first time cause everyone else in the podcasting world is rewatching. It's so good! Super funny too
