Yes, I'm sure Axel will spend quite some time pumping Asha for all kinds of things, including information

I wonder what will happen with Stannis’ daughter, from what I remember she’s been aged up to 20 in this fic. It’s good that Axel has realistic expectations for this war, after all he probably doesn’t need to breathe since he survived in wildfire so drowning by kraken isn’t an issue.

Hoho Stannis will get his first taste of the Regency. I'm sure he can't wait to hand over the reins as soon as Axel returns victorious from Euron and the Kraken lol. He loves duty, but when he sees all the mess Robert leaves behind, he'll much prefer the title of Lord Paramount 😂. Now I can't wait for the fight with the Kraken! I immediately thought of the fights Kratos had against the Kraken in God of War 2 and Ascension!. (It will definitely be the same level of brutality 🤷🏻‍♂️) But it wouldn't be bad to see Axel as a strategist and leading his armies 🤔. He's one man army, but he has to keep the kingdom in good shape and not just expect him to solve everything!

Well, he pretty much told us how his fight with the Kraken is going to go. He's definitely going to get smacked around a bit before getting eaten alive. Luckily he can cut his way out.

Axel: "Welp, I'm off to pump Asha Greyjoy." Stannis: "Excellent Your Grace. You'll be pumping her for information, right?" Axel: "....." Stannis: "FOR INFORMATION, right?" Hopefully the relationship between Axel and Stannis remains good. I'd like it if before he leaves, he reiterates just how much he needs Stannis there in Kings Landing and how he appreciates and trusts him. In fact, go so far as to when Axel emerges victorious and they celebrate the victory back in Kings Landing, Axel specifically honors his uncle for "being someone I can trust and who supports me in my duties even when it's not glorious; the most dutiful man in Westeros."

The men on axel army will be having grilled big ass kraken for weeks, and euron is going to loose all his collection of precious valyrian swords

Pretty sure Euron just decided to burn the Lannister fleet for fun. Then Balon saw an opportunity and declared independence as a response. Thats why Euron is blamed for the death of most of the Greyjoy family rather than Balon.

It's good to see Axel honoring Jon Arryn's memory the best he can, but not miring himself in Jon's way of thinking as penance for not saving him or as tribute to said memory. Axel has a lot of rebuilding of the Seven Kingdoms to do, and he seems to clearly understand that restoring the status quo serves no one, so I think Westeros is in for some...enlightening...times ahead.

😂 so glad to see Axel done playing games, might makes right, and if the good guys don’t use it the bad guys will. So might as well be Axel.

Knowing Stannis, he's gonna pick a capable Small Council to suggest to Axel....but I honestly cannot think of who he would suggest. The Grandmaester is out of his control and Davos is already Master of Ships.....I can't think of anyone he'd know for Master of Whisper. Maybe Randyll Tarly as Master of Laws, assuming Stannis can get over his dislike of the Reach. I'm struggling to think of who he'd suggest as Master of Coin, especially as they need someone that can attempt to straighten out Petyr's mess, and the only ones I can think of capable of doing that, Stannis either dislikes or doesn't really know. I honestly don't know if Stannis would see it as dutt to suggest someone he dislikes because thier capable or if his grudge holding would cause him to dismiss them out of hand.

The real question is if he's going to be giving opinions on a Hand of the King. I could see him performing well as Hand, and being honored to do so, but I could also see him coming to the realization of his own inflexibility and incompatibility with court in general as he tries to figure out the perfect person for each position. He really is a perfect Master of Laws, it's almost a waste for him to be Hand, which requires so much more politics and dealing with the ambiguity of actual rulership as opposed to interpretation of Law. Especially since he got a taste of real respect as Master of Law, on top of the increased responsibilities that come with his vastly increased holdings, so he'd be over Robert and what he's "owed" so he wouldn't have that tainting his view of his own suitability in the new cabinet. If there's any version of Stanis that would be able to see that he's best utilized as a Master of Law rather than any higher position, this is it.

LOLZMAN

I am wondering if Tyrion Lannister will show up as an option for the small council it would make some sort of sense, given that even his father despite his dislike for him, acknowledges his intelligence and that Tywin himself will likely want to stay in casterly rock to both oversee the repairs/ how they are going to deal with the forgiven debt and getting his duaghter to get a son so tyrion isn't the heir. Plus, it's likely better for everyone if as much distance is put between those two right now. Plus, he would fit basically any of the open roles, though Master of Coin is where he would do best, followed by Master of Wishpers and then Master of Law. Lastly, I would think Axel would really like his humour added to small council meetings.
