The moment Axel suplexes the kraken all the ironborn are gonna bend the knee so hard it’s gonna be underground. I do hope that at some point he pumps Asha full of kids though.

I think the first sentence in this chapter is missing a "with" at then end; "... down the Gold Road with."

Cam hates us, now in every chapter he'll add little breadcrumbs describing the sex scenes between Sandor and Brienne 💔. He even had to specify the body hair 😂😂😂 (Just kidding, we love you ❤️) I still think Euron wants Cersei 🤔 (He's not completely Book Euron, so it would make sense that he wants a Queen...). Otherwise, what does he want to do? A big final battle where he kills all the armies of Westeros in one fell swoop? lol

Put every first born son to the sword. Run the Iron Islands red.

Neither option of Theon or Asha deals with the underlying issue of an island kingdom that relies on theft and slavery, with those things embedded into their culture as some glorious thing or right of passage. There's lot of examples in human history about suppressing or destroying a culture and none of them are pleasant, so he's gonna have to make some difficult, probably cruel choices and kill a ton of people if he wants to make any sort of meaningful impact that will last longer than a decade.

If only good ol'Balon was still here. Then there would surely have been peace.

Two rebellions in a single generation? Sail to the Iron Islands, return the thralls and salt wives to the continent, kill everyone else, raze the castles completely. They want to live by the Old Way so badly, they can die by it. Scour the Islands clean, no more Ironborn. Then let the Westerlands and Riverlands split up the iron mines between them, if they're even worth the trouble.

Glad he realized considering what Jon would do would lead him to the same end Jon had. Of course it took Sandor pointing it out to him for him to even realize it. Since letting the Tyrell's keep their place as Lord Paramount was a special sort of stupid. If he lets Asha take over simply because he fucked her, they'll just do the same thing again in a few decades. Their culture is never going to change. So only way to end the Ironborn threat is to end the Ironborn period. Theon would do anything he can to try to live up to the stories he's got in his own head about what great men they are. So he'd be another fuck up if Axel made the mistake of placing him in charge. Better to purge the island of people and setup ports for trade. That'd make the islands useful, instead of a constant problem.

Honestly, to keep the Ironborn under control requires leaving them under a strong leader that they respect. Asha is strong, but they wouldn't respect her cause she's a woman. And Theon....at best he's a warning like Axel was thinking, he's not strong and has zero respect from the Ironborn. Honestly I only see too ways to prevent the Ironborn rebelling again without slaughtering a whole lot of them. The first is to essentially occupy the islands with a foreign army. Since Axel doesn't have one, I'd suggest revoking the Iron Islands sovereignty and incorporating them either with the Westerlands or the North, maybe divide them between the two. They're the only two kingdoms that are close enough to keep an eye on the islands AND powerful and united enough to enforce thier will. I suppose the Riverlands could be granted an island or two if they're divided up, but House Tully doesn't have the wealth or loyaltyof houses Stark and Lannister. Personally, I'd trust the Starks more, but giving control to the Lannisters would probably be a good way to "Reward" the Lannisters, and keep Tywin occupied with having another, rather poor, territory to control.......not sure how it would work, but Axel could sell lordship over the islands as well afterward. It would be a good way to reduce the crowns debt, but I'm sure there are plenty of second or third sons families would be willing to purchase a lordship for, if only to extend the family prestige. The second way is to decimate thier fleets, and instruct the lordship with costal holdings to defend them better so that the Ironborn can't replenish thier fleet by sneaking in to fell a few trees.

I have chills thinking in the next chapter, let see what euron have in mind

Nice seeing Axel and Sandor shooting the breeze together. As for the Ironborn... Maybe a multi-prong approach will work. First off, EVERY Ironborn that actively took up arms against the Crown will get the block and be buried inland. The Iron Islands will no longer be a kingdom with a Lord Paramount, but a naval base for the Royal Fleet that falls directly under the control of the King (similar to the Crownlands) and the Master of Ships. Once the kraken is killed, parade it's corpse to the remaining Ironborn (the women, children, elderly, etc) and build septs on the Islands to spread the word that the champion of the Seven triumphed over the avatar of the Drowned God. Force every Ironborn male to five years of hard labor, mostly harvesting crops and the like; make them see how damn hard it is to make an honest living, teach them some fucking respect for Greenlanders. All ships of the Iron Islands are to be property of the Royal Navy, with only fishing vessels and the like leased to the Ironborn. Who knows, MAYBE that can work without FULLY genociding them all. I look forward to tomorrow and seeing what's cooking in Euron's sick little mind.

"And so they were forced to wait, to bind their time for reinforcements." -> I think Bind is supposed to be Bide.

Eureka

My idea is that grejoy can command more than 1 kraken and he wants to crush the six kingdoms army in one big battle to establish his authority and diminish the king.

Alun Lewis

Axel can't emulate his father and allow the Ironborn to metaphorically walk away from rebelling for a second time in a generation, even if he kills the super kraken and eviscerates Euron to make a point to get them to surrender...a message has to be sent that the Old Ways of the Iron Islands are not going to be tolerated anymore. But unless any sort of genocide can be achieved in one fell swoop to remove anyone that could lead future rebellions? You're just asking for trouble years from now. No...I think finding a way to: A) get Asha in charge of the Ironborn once Euron is out of the picture; and B) new traditions initiated to make the Ironborn productive members of the Seven Kingdoms is the only way forward if complete cultural annihilation is unacceptable or unwanted. My previous suggestion of harnessing the Ironborn as privateers could be modified to have them be an expeditionary arm of the Westerosi Royal Navy, where they'd be doing all of the missions to Essos or other foreign locales.

Kluvial

Suggestion. Axel should name Lady Brianne to the QUEENSgaurd. This would make knighting her seem logical. Since you could say you want a woman to be guarding women. It would put her on equal standing to the good Clegane. And Axel could probably also use this as a workaround for the ‘no children’ thing somehow. I haven’t really figured out the children part and it isn’t really necessary either.
