Edited: Don't let Illyana assume this is some convoluted psyop, and wake her up now. She'll act violently, but there's no guarantee she wouldn't act violently in New York.

Waking up at the facility is dangerous because she might act violently. She could destroy the airborne facility leading it to crash and while thad can save some, he will not be able to save all the widows on board. Also rest of the scattered widows still have not gathered. If she is to be awakened right now, do it only after all the mess with widows is cleared and the facility is brought down to the ground

Not at all what I was expecting. Ilyanna being in the red room was a genuine surprise, I was expecting Sleepi g Beauty to be Taskmaster, only her ability to copy fighting forms she'd seen being a mutation lol. Great job.

I just feel that bringing Illyana to New York first, is too stage managed when she needs something authentic to believe in it, after being induced into a shadowy government program as a young child, then doing, who knows what for 20 years in limbo.

Am I missing something (from the comics, at least) where Natasha Alianovna Romanova is a MID-TIER Widow?! Is our redheaded wonder having an off moment when she thinks that at the start of the chapter? On another note, I'm glad that Melina gets some character redemption that she didn't really get in "Black Widow" in this chapter. Having her be the root cause of the rogue Widows rebelling and fighting Dreykov from the inside is definitely a tad more palatable than her only really switching sides when her "daughters" come calling in the film and never showing any significant signs of remorse for helping to brainwash and control them for Dreykov.

We are going to need honesty and undeniable proof to get Illyana to trust them. Her knee jerk reaction is going to be attack and run regardless of where she wakes up. Better to subdue her on the ship and prove they are against the Red Room through action and then let her go then expect her to believe them when they just tell her what they've done.

I hope Illyana's world-hopping power + his luck mean he gets a well deserved training arc. He really needs to learn how to use his powers effectively to pose any sort of challenge to a 17k year old monster. Just imagine if he takes Frost (obviously coz he'll go crazy if he had to do it all alone and he trusts Frost the most) with him for a decades long training arc conquering increasingly stronger worlds, becoming king and queen, while only an instant passes on Earth.

I kinda wonder if it's possible to abuse his supercomputer like mental capabilities along with super luck to 'accidentally' create a few super drugs like NZT-48 or even Compound-V to awaken dorment mutant powers (he already knows how to do it using his ability). He can always get the idea during a movie night or something.

I think that they should partially awakened her now, like they should allow her to see the destruction of the red room but she doesn't need to be fully awake to the point where she can bust out and just start killing people. Maybe do something similar to what you did with madeline,
