I still say, he should just buy up the remains of Lord enterprise, rip it apart and redistribute the employees over his many locations while taking ofer all the patents while giving Lena a charity tu run in his name. He gets the value, Lena looses the baggage that is her dying company and he gets a nice pr stunt. Let Kara be responsible for helping Lena as well and make the Charity organisation help those of the population that are in the crosshair of super powered brawls. Would be really ironic to show Kara what her heroism causes to the colateral.

Lucien could very well intentionally choose to watch Lena and Kara enjoy each other's company...or demonstrate how closely he wants to partner with Lena by teaming up with her to rock Kara's world.

As we clealy saw in this chapter, Lena was more than ready to sleep with Lucien in the name of getting help to keep her company afloat...without really knowing Lucien's full measure or have any true guarantee that he wouldn't "hit it and quit it" (aka take Lena up on her indecent proposal, but back out after making Lena a bedpost notch). The bigger issue IMO should be Lena's stance on Kara being involved...at least right now. This isn't the Arrowverse, so this Lena has far more neutral feelings overall for this version of Kara due to the minimal contact they've had so far.

Lucien could...but do we know if Lena has any interest in getting bought out in exchange for agreeing to run a charity OF ANY KIND, let alone one designed to aid victims of superheroism-related property destruction or physical harm? From how I've interpreted this story's version of Lena, she's not too far removed from the Arrowverse version of the character and that one EVENTUALLY traded out Earth Prime LexCorp for a charity foundation because of not really waving to clean up Lex's mess for a second time. This Lena is a technically more realistic one, as Arrowverse Lena should have struggled just as much as this story's Lena with keeping LexCorp/L-Corp afloat after that universe's Lex tried to kill Kara's cousin by turning the sun red (aka somehow aging Sol billions of years in an instant or altering Earth's atmosphere to let through solar radiation differently) and actually killed innocents in the process. It's arguably only the fact that Arrowverse Kara (as Supergirl) publicly supported Lena & L-Corp that stemmed the tide of woes that this Lena has faced but Arrowverse Lena didn't.

Well...I'm glad that my hopes for Cambrian walking the fine line of honoring the poll results while still maintaining character development cane true (i.e. Lucien accepting Lena's innuendo-laden offer to have dinner and "talk business" but not actually pulling the trigger...at least till he could sell her on his sincere desire to help her without sexual favours needing to be exchanged first). The questions now are "Will Lena accept Lucien as sincere? If she does, what will she do then -- take the out and avoid having to prostitute herself on behalf of her employees, or will she "thank" Lucien anyway? Is Kara gonna be left out of the fun if that happens, or will Lena get to experience being the meat in a metahuman-alien sandwich?" Acknowledging my biases up-front, I'm a SuperCorp shipper and any chance of Lena & Kara is alright in my books...and my poll vote reflects that...but I'd be happy if any in-story near-future fun between Lucien, Kara & Lena doesn't go past third base till they've grown to know each other better.

It does not mattee if she planned it or not. I was talking from Luciens point of view, and it would really got for him, that when e buys a struggeling competitior, he not only does not fire the workers, but also gives the ex-owner a job as well. The charity is in part to give use her reputation against crime to better his own immage, to give her something to do which coes not harm him, and to let him show supergirl the consequences of her fights.
