A/N: PANICK!

Also this right here is the old Silver Eyes slot in my weekly Patreon Schedule. Which means this is the Official Second Chances slot going forward.

I know I’ve been putting out chapters almost nightly this past week, but I can’t promise that posting schedule will continue.

However, what I can promise is that no matter what, at least one chapter of Second Chances will come out at this time every Tuesday. Anything else will just be bonus going forward.

BOBBY IS A KING!!! I was honestly expecting 5 more chapters of mysterious Jinu if Bobby wasn’t a plug and convinced him to talk to the girls.

TheEmperor

That „good luck“ is real as hell, we all know Bobby is gonna get a decent scolding for that one lol

ZloGlaZ

Just finished the previous one and there's update :)

Belly

I would honestly wouldn't be surprised if in canon JInu's little sister ended up becoming the ancestor for said demon hunters. Like she was young but kind of had a suspicion that her older brother was dragged down by Gwi-wa so she dedicated her life to exterminating demons and saving him

bfoolforty

I'm waiting for the whole group to sing "Free" together now.

Zero2sanity

God I love this one, actually brought me to the Patreon too!

Alun Lewis

Anyone wanna bet that Celine ends up at the park with the girls, either as a fourth part of their team...or as an unannounced third party who will throw a monkey wrench into the initial face-to-face meeting? Because if Bobby is HUNTR/X's civilian life pillar of support, Celine is his counterpart for demon slaying...but the elder Pop Idol has been drinking the Flavor-Aid long enough that switching to metaphorical Kool-Aid is going to be a steep ask. Especially if she's secretly known that some demons can change (via Rumi's dad) for decades now.

Alatoic

I was thinking the same think, that she and her mother survive, that she take the job of singer in the street but was more successful than her brother and she was one of the first hunters as she discover daemons take her brother and the Higher Powers offered a chance to save her brother soul.

Alatoic

YES! I know that Bobby dont look to smart or wise in the anime but lets not forget that he is the manager of the biggest band in Korea and have to cross swords with a lot of bad people, so he must be smart and savvy, if a little goofy.

Belly

Deep lore dive of this would be amazing lol Like it turns out the hongmoon has gje echoes of the previous generations of the demon hunters (not like actual souls but an imprint of spirit). It would've probably made a good 2nd movie if Jinu survived and the rainbow hongmoon showed the past hunters until it showed Jinu's sister at the end, finishing their reunion.

Geese

Hopefully demons don’t try to attack en masse when the meeting happens.

Nat

I gotta say, having watched the movie makes this fic far more enjoyable. Bobby is also a real one, taking a massive risk a day after almost dying. Thanks for the chapter

Cambrian

Yeah plus its a good movie so glad to push more people towards it lmfao :P Thanks for reading!

spike drake

As much as id LOVE for this to be a 200 plus chapter story I dont see that being a thing cause theres just so little "canon" to go off of but even so with how well you are at adding extra stuff i can see it being amazing all the same. As soon as I saw you made a story for this I was SOO excited and its living up to it every single time. It actually got me to get the patron cause I couldn't wait

Cambrian

Yeah I think this might be a shorter story, maybe 50 chapters at most? But we'll see. No matter what, we'll have fun with it!

Cambrian

Also welcome to the patreon!

spike drake

Depending you wanna go full off script and just make it its own thing. I mean you could work in other story elements and what not making it a crossover but just as its own thing sadly theres not much to go on

Gamesempie

Loving Bobby. He cuts through the crap and gets shit Done.

Ofunu

lol. Jinu wanting to help form the shadows and wrecking his brain trying to come up with a good approach to contact the girls. The girls planing to hunt down and capture the unsuspecting Jinu next time he shows up. And then Bobby comes around and tears all those plans down to sit them down at the table to chat.

Benjamin Floyd

Bobby: “I reject your Peggy Sue plan and substitute my own.” Jinu: “You didn’t know I was a time traveler though.” B: “Yeah, made rejecting your plan based on that much easier.”

Cambrian

yeh bobby cutting through all the bullshit

Crispined Glover Potato Snacks

KPDH is what happens when artists deal with a crisis. This fic is what happens when a project manager deals with a crisis.

tyalaman

This is genuinely a well written story. No lewds so far but honestly I hope this story is a slow burn and we keep down this path. Loving the plot so far.

Cambrian

Yep, I'm expecting it to be very slow burn. We have a lot of angst and humor and plot to get through before we get to the lewds with this story I believe.

Reaper96

Jesus I love the bro relationship between jinu and Bobby... But damn hell that betrayal at the end lmao
