Can’t wait for one of the stupid lords to try and dillydally their muster when their king shows up in person, or tries to deny the threat when he flies into their inner courtyard and shows them his magic breastplate with a giant hole in the middle of it.

Peter Lappin

What will you replace this with?

Cambrian

No plans to replace it with anything daily at the moment tbh. Going to need a break from daily writing because near the end here I've really been getting burnt out on having to keep up and make sure this story doesn't miss a day. To put it in perspective, my original backlog was 15 chapters past the Patreon so I had a nice buffer room as I wrote this story. By this point I'm down to only 3 chapters ahead of the Patreon ><

The Cancer Fox

Is there any possibility of a more Invincible centric sequel? Axel Vs Confederation of Planets/Viltrimite Empire/Battle Beast etc etcz/

Cambrian

I don't think it's likely, nah. The intention was always to finish this story up still within the ASOIAF universe, with Axel's mom coming back to find him ruling the entire planet being basically the final storybeat

I wonder how Asha and the Ironborn will react?

JoeMcCool

Axel doesn't like Tywin very much and they both know it. If Tywin drags his feet in following Axel's orders, he might wind up with his lordship stripped and given to Tyrion. And that's if isn't enough, if Axel is ticked off enough, Tywin might meet the same fate as The Mountain. 😓

JRWins

My money is on Mace Tyrell.

William

Tywin is arrogant, NOT stupid, he may let his arrogance cover up the obvious best judgements sometimes, but in the when its most important to him he knows to put that prejudice aside to get things done, like appointing Tyrion as Hand of the King in his stead when he heard about everything beginning to match the smell in King'slanding, he hates tyrion with every fiber of his being, but he knew and admitted it was the best decision to keep things afloat. He's been desperate to get back in Axel's good graces since the challenge thing settled the war without Axel's side losing any manpower, even more so after Axel stopped holding back, I wouldnt be surprised if Tywin brings in the biggest army of all the seven kingdoms for this, including buying up every half decent mercenary company in essos.( or at least the really good ones.)

William

I kinda hope next chapter is a big interlude showing the reactions and preparations of all the relevant players.

I imagine the ending of this story taking place at a funeral in the Great Sept—during the last funeral of one of its queens—when the upper windows shatter, and we see her mother entering.

TheSinful

Tywin: "Hm... Should I let this play out again? See who comes out on top rather than committing to one side or another?" Axel: "Hey, Tyrion! You're now head of your house. Seems your father decided to bash his skull in against his castle walls. Weird that."

redhawktiger

Why send a raven when you can send a king lol

Kasikan

I feel like Jon's got the worst role possible there at the end. No matter how much Axel thinks he was doing Jon a favor so he could spend more time with Ygritte, he really just gave him a shit job of endless problems. He'll be lucky if he ever gets to spend more than 5 minutes without having to stop people from killing each other once everyone arrives up there. Not to mention having to deal with all the other animosity between different regions and other problems that will crop up. Jon's likely going to be run ragged dealing with problems as the Wildlings cause problems everywhere as everyone will see them as an acceptable target for venting frustration with there being no true Ironborn left to hate on anymore.

Alun Lewis

Beside it being the fastest way to get the Lords Paramount off their asses and mustering troops to face off against the Night King & his forces, Axel doing an in-person summons of each of the seven kingdoms' leaders drives the point home (or drives it home again) that Axel is extremely hands-on in his method of leadership, especially in matters of war and state security. So yeah...he's not going to dawdle around when troops need raising and logistics prepared for a battle in Westeros' most northern regions.

Noice, I love seeing my predictions be correct

Ye they beter obey with the king personally flying about with the orders. He might not stop at every castle, ut everything along his flight to the major lords yes.
